2 days ago, I officially turned 26, but it’s just a number. Let’s talk numbers for a second.
The only important number to me right now is 2. My wife and my son are the only two people I work my hardest for. As a matter of fact, my son turned 2 months old on my birthday.
I work multiple jobs, get less than 5 hours of sleep everyday because I’m either working or taking care of them. I make a enough money to get us comfortably by despite a lot of stuff. It’s not easy. Last year was hard, but at 26, life is bound to get harder. I have more responsibilities now, and a family to provide for.
I don’t complain and I’m not asking anything for my birthday. I am proud that I work multiple jobs because it means I am doing right by my family. I am working to provide for the ones that mean the most to me. I continue to learn and grow, and I am thankful for that. I’m also thankful for the different jobs that I have that allow me to earn for my family.
It is no easy feat working multiple jobs; my wife does the same thing. But we would gladly sacrifice our time to provide for our son. Of all the jobs I have, being a husband and a father are the most fulfilling. They’re forever, and they’re best jobs in the world. Here’s to more years to come!
