In a world with plenty of restaurants that offer a wide variety of choices, it’s no wonder we always have difficulty in answering the question: where do we eat? Finding a good restaurant is already hard as it is, but finding one that you can never get tired of; well that’s a real challenge.
With my wife’s occupation as a host/singer, I get the opportunity to try dishes from her gig venues. I have grown fond with some, though they do come with their own setbacks (i.e. cigarette smoke, food isn’t good, etc.) But there is one that is just a step above the rest: Red Kitchen + Bar.
This two-storey establishment has a rather cool set-up. The main restaurant is located at the ground which features a bar and al fresco area. Seats are plush and offer a lounge feel with a mini stage for performers. The second is the dedicated bar, complete with bar counter, VIP Room, and a stage for bands. Both areas are open for event reservations, and have designated performers on certain days. The overall feel is modern and classy.
The real kicker here is the food. With offerings like Chicken Inasal, Soy Pork Belly, Red Sea Salad, Angus Steak, and Churrascos, it is a wonderful adventure to try everything on the menu. All I can say is that the food is really great.
In all honesty, I would recommend everything that I have mentioned above. I’m still in the process in trying the whole menu. Some of my personal menu favorites are the Soy Pork Belly, Red Sea Salad, Steak Carbonara, and the Churrascos.
The Churrascos come in three variations: chicken, beef, and shrimp. But if you are feeling up to it, you can try their Triad. It consists of all three variations which can be shared. The chicken, beef, and shrimps are perfectly cooked, with veggies that come fresh of the grill.
If you’re not in the mood for food, you can enjoy their bar offerings. The staple San Miguel beers are there along with imported beers. Liquors and spirits of your choosing are available, and a number of cocktails are on the menu if they are more your speed.
Wines are always an option at Red Kitchen + Bar. Actually, the restaurant is proud of its wines that the selection is one of the first things you see upon entering. It is impressive with wines from from France, Italy, Spain, and Chile. They are available per glass or per bottle.
To carry such a restaurant, the staff have to be more than capable. On that aspect, they are because they always serve with a smile. They are quick, knowledgeable, and are very customer oriented. It just makes the overall dining experience that much better.
I highly recommend Red Kitchen + Bar to anyone looking for a place to eat and relax.
